Events for 2009/2010
Auction: Each year, the Junior Guild holds one primary fundraiser where we raise money to help operate our community programs and to grant funds to worthy organizations in Waukesha and Milwaukee counties. This year's event, "Champagne Safari--Explore. Experience. Celebrate!" will be held at 6 p.m. March 27, 2010 at the Wauwatosa Crowne Plaza, (on Innovation Drive near the intersections of HWY 100 and Watertown Plank Road). Easter Egg Hunt: The Easter Egg Hunt will be held at 10 a.m. April 3, in the Village Park. More information will be available soon.
Memorial Day Parade: May 31, 2010, in the Village. Road closures will begin at 10:00 am. The parade will start at 10:30 am at the Legion entrance to the park. It will run about 1.5 hours. The parade will go north on Legion, east on Elmhurst Parkway, south on Church Street, west on Watertown Plank, south on Elm Grove Road and end at Wall Street.
4th of July Games: July 4, in Village Park. Volunteers are needed.
Safety Village: Safety Village will run for two weeks in August . Check back often for more details.
Halloween Party: Children's Halloween Party will be 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Oct. 29, 2009 in the Village Hall Community Room.
Breakfast with Santa: Co-sponsored with the Elm Grove Women's Club. This event will be held from 9:30 to noon December 19,2009 at the Women's Club, 13885 Watertown Plank Road. Volunteers are needed.
Scholarship: The Junior Guild is accepting scholarship applications from high school seniors living in the Elmbrook School District. More info
